Quartz 30mm Center Core Enail Banger Full Weld: 14mm Male 90 Degree
The 30mm quartz center core banger, contains a cylindrical piece of glass which sits in the center of the bottom of the bangers bucket. features a distinctive built-in dab insert at its base. There is a very specific purpose for having this additional piece of glass. When dabbing the ultimate equation is the vaporization rate (how quickly the dab can be vaporized) vs the saturation rate (how much of a dab size is placed into the banger). There are 3 things that can be done to increase the vaporization rate which allows for more efficient larger dabs.
The first thing that can be done to increase the vaporization rate is to increase the temperature of the banger, whether with an enail or dab torch, this hold true under both heating methods. The second thing which can increase the vaporization rate is an increase in surface area. Think of a pan on a stove, having 2 pans 1 super small and the other large, with the stove flame being the same level, the larger pan will be able to vaporize more water quickly, then the tiny pan. The next thing which can be done to increase the vaporization rate is with the use of inserts, by evenly distributing the dabs, inserts act like a mixer to make sure the evenly spread dabs are vaporized efficiently and completely.
The increased surface will help vaporization rate, however with a center core banger, there is an added bonus, heat retention. Heat retention is most applicable when dabbing with a dab torch. This is because once the dab torch stops heating the banger, the banger will begin to cool, even more so once the dab is placed onto thte banger, it will cool the banger down even more. This is why you may think because you have heated the banger to 500 degrees that you will be dabbing at that temp, however that is not the case.
By utilizing thicker bangers, such as thick bottom bangers, or a center core banger, the additional heat retention allows the dab to be vaporized at the preferred temperature for just a bit longer. When it comes to enails heat retention doesnt really matter becuase the banger is concisistently heated throughout the dab.
Although heat retention applies to dab torch heating more so than an enail. This is because an enail is consistently heating the banger throughout the dab.
So put all this together and what does it mean?
With a typical 30mm enail banger one would be able to dab somewhere between a .15-3 dab efficiently , when utilizing the center core 30mm enail banger that is increase up to a .35 and up to as much as a .4 when terp pearls and a spinner carb cap is utilized.
While quartz center core bangers are not typically paired with enails, we find this combination awesome for dabbing!
