The 10mm Female 90 Degree Regular Weld Center Core Banger, also known as a core reactor or quartz core banger, is engineered with a 4mm thick, 10mm diameter solid quartz cylinder at the base of the bucket. This "quartz core" serves two key functions: enhancing heat retention and increasing the surface area.
Compared to a standard quartz bucket banger, the addition of the quartz cylinder significantly boosts both heat retention and surface area. This leads to more efficient vaporization of your dabs, ensuring less waste and fuller use of your concentrates. The combination of greater surface area and heat retention allows your dabs to vaporize completely, leaving minimal residue behind.
A key concept in dabbing is the vaporization rate, which is influenced by the surface area and temperature of the banger. This determines the ideal dab size the banger can handle, known as the saturation rate. The center core improves both temperature and surface area, unlike inserts, which primarily help distribute the dab evenly but don’t retain heat.
