Angled Bangers
Angled bangers are the original style of quartz banger that came after the advent of dab nails. The angled cut aids in the airflow, offering better vapor circulation. The science and capability of these bangers has been surpassed over the past few years with bucket bangers, terp slurpers and now blender bangers. Angled bangers require an angled carb cap to facilitate proper airflow. These carb caps will prevent hot or cool spots and allow for complete vaporization of your dab.
With its super thick banger walls, the angled banger offers terrific heat retention. They are great for low-temp or high-temp dabs. The thick walls have some advantages and disadvantages. While it takes longer to heat bangers with thicker walls, they also have better heat retention.
It's also super important to be careful when doing a cold-start dab with this style banger and all thick wall bangers that the heat-up time takes longer but also the heat transference from the outside of the banger to the inside of the banger takes some time. This means you can heat-up the banger for a few seconds, then wait until the inside of the banger reaches temp. If when doing a cold-start dab you continue to heat the banger until the dab inside begins to vaporize, the interior of the banger will continue to heat even after the flame is moved away from the banger. This can result in burned dabs.
When utilizing this banger for a cold-start dab, heat for 20-30 seconds and wait 5-10 seconds to see if the banger has reached your desired temperature, do not continue to heat until the dab begins to vaporize.

Angled Banger FAQ

It's pro's can also be it's con's. With angled bangers its thick walls and bottom will take longer to heat. The small bucket may be great for small dabs but is definitely not suitable for larger dabs. Angled Bangers unqiue airflow makes them more prone to have reclaim to be sucked into the neck of the banger. WIth it's shallow bucket, not many inserts can be used with angled bangers.
