1. Start by attaching your banger to your water pipe and placing any banger insert or terp pearls inside the banger. Make sure it is securely in place and that there are no air-leaks.
2. Heat up the banger with your dab torch lighter until it is red hot. This can take anywhere from 20-60 seconds depending on the size of your banger. Allow the banger to cool for 30 seconds before dabbing.
3. Use your dab tool to scoop a small amount of concentrate onto the banger. The amount will vary depending on personal preference, but a good starting point is about the size of a grain of rice.
4. Choose the scooping method that prevents wax residue from remaining on the tool. This will depend on the type of wax being used.
5. To use a dab tool with harder wax like shatter, press the tool against the shatter to make it stick. Heating the tool or using an electric dab tool can also help control the dab size. For softer waxes like butter or diamonds, use the straight edge or back of the spoon to avoid angled parts.
6. To transfer concentrate from the dab tool to the banger, touch the bottom corner of the tool to the banger while pressing against the side wall, to drop all the wax quickly.
7. Once your concentrate is on the banger, use the carb cap to cover the banger and inhale the vapor through the dab rig.
8. Use the carb cap to control the airflow and vapor cloud by adjusting it to prevent pooling (hot or cool spots).
9. After inhaling, use isopropyl alcohol and a cotton swab (with a wood stem) to clean the remaining wax.
10. Repeat the process as desired, making sure to properly clean your banger and dab tool after each use.
