Of all the terp pillars we offer, the Hollow Bullet Terp Pillar is one of the most uniquely designed and functional. This design has one end of the pillar closed while the other end remains open, along with a cut-out positioned halfway up the pillar. It can be used with the bullet end facing either up or down, depending on what you are looking to achieve from each dab.
With the bullet end pointing upward, the design helps reduce the amount of concentrate that enters the center of the terp pillar. Only the dab that reaches the side opening can enter the hollow center, where it can then quickly fall back down toward the bottom of the banger for continued vaporization.
By comparison, a traditional hollow terp pillar with two open ends can allow more concentrate to enter through the top of the pillar. This can increase the amount of time the concentrate spends inside the pillar before returning to the heated bottom surface of the banger, helping elongate the dab and soften the overall vaporization experience.
For smaller to medium sized dabs more dabs will fall into the side hole than would fall into the top of a hollow terp pillar, allowing for a smoother, more even and elongated dab than the same sized hollow terp pillar.
This is what makes the Hollow Bullet Terp Pillar such an interesting middle ground between a solid terp pillar and a fully hollow terp pillar. It provides some of the concentrate movement and internal flow associated with a hollow pillar while limiting how much concentrate can enter the center at once. If you are looking for something between the performance characteristics of a solid and hollow terp pillar, the Hollow Bullet Terp Pillar is an excellent option.
With its 6mm diameter and 25mm height, this terp pillar is best suited for bangers with an interior diameter of at least 8mm and where the neck or restricted portion of the banger begins at least 20mm above the bottom of the banger.
