Sub Steps
-
Look at the portion of the banger where the neck meets the bucket.
The above picture is of a regular weld banger. Notice the weld marks where the banger neck meets the banger bucket. Notice how the banger neck is evenly sized from after the bending of the joint to where the neck meets the bucket. This is how you know its a regular weld banger.
Ask yourself these 2 questions:
- Do you see any obvious welds where the bucket and neck meet? (like pictured above) If yes, you have a regular weld banger.
- Is the bangers neck evenly sized, from after the angle bend to where the bucket meets? (like pictured above) If yes, you may have a regular weld banger.
Step #3: Identifying a Fully Welded Quartz Banger:
Sub Steps
-
- Is the connection from the bucket to the banger seamless, with no lines or obvious weld (like pictured below)?
- Is the connection next to the bucket wider, then the neck narrows before it bends 90 degrees (like pictured below) or 45 degrees?
The above picture is of a fully welded quartz banger. Notice how there is no weld marks where the banger neck meets the banger bucket. Notice how the neck is wider when its next to the bucket and gradually becomes more narrow as it reaches the necks bending point. This is an easy way to identify a fully welded banger.
