Bubble Carb Caps

Bubble dab caps have a round carb cap shape which resembles a bubble, hence their name. They come in several different sizes, colors and airflow configurations. Carb caps control and direct airflow within a banger. They help retain heat in the quartz banger, improve the performance of inserts, and promote more efficient vaporization.

Made from borosilicate glass, they are not as heat resistant as quartz. They can break if exposed to high temperatures. So be sure not to allow the dab torch flame to directly touch the carb cap.

Use bubble carb caps with beveled top bangers; do not use them with flat top bangers. This is because the curvature of the banger top which perfectly fits with the bubble for an air-tight seal.

Carb Cap Tethers are a great tool for bubble carb caps, they help prevent the cap from falling off and onto the ground.

As with all carb caps its important to match the carb cap size to the banger size. The size of the insertable portion of the bubble carb cap is important to know. A good fit will allow for full, unrestricted movement. Pair bubble caps with quartz bangers, not dab nails.

Bubble caps move easily inside the banger, allowing you to direct airflow to nearly every millimeter of the banger. This ensures no area goes untouched and gives you full control over how your dab spreads within the banger.

Most bubble caps also feature an air hole on top. By partially or entirely covering this hole, you can control the airflow and vapor-to-air ratio. More air-flow will also impact heat retention. Less airflow allows the banger to retain heat better.

This will produce either thinner, lighter clouds or thicker, denser vapor.

Bubble Carb Caps offer several different styles of airflow, all with their own advantages. Bubble Spinner Carb Caps create a tornado or funnel airflow effect with the banger. This style carb cap works best with terp pearls or terp spinner wheels.

You can also use these types of carb caps without any inserts. Their airflow will still evenly distribute your concentrates to vaporize efficiently. Directional bubble dab caps are best paired with bucket inserts to aim the airflow into and around the insert.

Bubble caps are generally found in 20mm, 25mm, 30mm and 35mm. Some exceptions apply, such as smaller electric dab rig atomizers or extra-large bucket bangers where compatibility may vary. The extreme popularity of bubble caps is due in part to them being of the best carb cap for dabbing.

When vaporizing concentrates, airflow carb caps are the best choice to enhance your dabs. Whether you choose a bubble, bell, UFO style or other, understand which airflow is best for achieving your preferred dabbing experience.
