Ceramic nails offer the best of both worlds—durable with better taste than titanium, though not quite as good as quartz. This hybrid design combines the functionality of a dab nail and a banger, preventing excess reclaim from flowing into your dab rig joint.
To get the most from this design, it’s essential to heat both the neck and dish of the nail. The shallow dish can sometimes cause dab remnants to flow into the joint, but by heating the thin, horizontal neck, you can vaporize any dab that gets sucked in before it reaches the rig joint.
For optimal performance, use dabs of 0.2g or less. This nail pairs perfectly with a dome carb cap—titanium or quartz. The quartz carb cap adds spinner airflow, promoting even heating and vaporization.
The spinner quartz carb cap also allows you to use terp pearls for better distribution. Although this nail has an 18mm male joint, which isn’t as common for dab rigs, you can use an expansion adapter to make it compatible with smaller rigs like 10mm or 14mm joints.
