This is especially important when dealing with such a powerful blender banger, as the terp pearls fly around the banger, the splashguard helps prevent the dabs which can be flung up by the spinning terp pearls from reach the neck of the banger and eventually going down into the dab rig. While it won't entirely eliminate the mess, it significantly helps keep your rig cleaner for longer sessions.
