Why We Recommend a 90° Banger

A 45° banger can physically work with a reclaim catcher, but the banger angle changes the direction the reclaim travels through the catcher.

With a 45° banger, reclaim can collect along the side walls rather than dropping directly into the silicone jar. A 90° banger keeps the reclaim path more vertical, helping the catcher collect reclaim where it is supposed to.

A 90° rig should use a 90° reclaim catcher with the preferred 90° banger.
