Silicone Reclaim Catchers

Silicone Reclaim Catchers have a few key advantages over quartz glass reclaim catchers. Silicone reclaim catchers are easier to completely gather the reclaim from by placing the reclaim catcher into the freezer for an hour, pulling it out and squeezing the reclaim catcher while over a silicone dab mat or parchment paper. By doing this, the frozen reclaim within the reclaim catcher will fall off the reclaim catcher onto the parchment paper or silicone jar / dab mat, for easy gathering and reuse. 

Silicone reclaim catchers are also more ideal for certain dab nails, namely titanium dab nails. Titanium nails offer maximum heat when dabbing however they tend to get pretty hot, even down to the joint connection. When the joint connection gets really hot the dab nail can transfer excessive heat to the borosilicate joint of the dab rig, causing the joint to break and rendering the dab rig useless. It is therefore recommended to utilize a silicone reclaim catcher whenever dabbing with a titanium nail.

Now silicone reclaim catchers are ot currently offered with a 45 degree angle, however one of the stub style reclaim catchers, which do not have a joint neck can be used, although not ideal. When using this style of reclaim catcher be sure to clean it regularly to prevent any spillage down into the dab rig. 

Reclaim catchers are the most economical dabbing accessory as they pay for themselves after just a few usages when you are able to gather the reclaim from within the reclaim catcher and reuse it in a time of need.
